What a first half of the 2024/25 academic year! From Folkestone to Gateshead, we’ve been on a mission to empower students, staff, and parents with lifesaving first-aid skills. Here’s what we’ve achieved so far:
- Visited: 31 schools, 1 doctor’s surgery & 6 parent-child training sessions with Fit Rovers Families
- Delivered training to: 483 classes & 9,790+ students!
- Baby & toddler classes: 6 sessions with 52 mums & babies
- Miles covered: Over 3,200 miles across the UK
STAFF TRAINING
- 15 x Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) courses
- 4 x First Aid at Work (FAW) courses
- 5 x Paediatric First Aid (PFA) courses
- 14 x Basic Life Support (BLS) courses
PRIMARY & SECONDARY WORKSHOPS
Every pupil in multiple schools received age-appropriate and practical first aid training, ensuring they’re prepared for real-life emergencies.
REAL IMPACT – LIVES SAVED!
Because of our training, we know of:
- 3 people saved when they stopped breathing
- 5 people successfully prevented choking incidents
- 4 heroic responses by children under 9 years old, including:
- Handling choking & anaphylaxis
- Calling 999 & getting help
- Staying calm & reassuring casualties
These aren’t just statistics – this is the power of first aid training in action. The skills we teach save lives.
A huge thank you to every school, teacher, student, and parent who has taken part – we couldn’t do it without you!
Here’s to an even bigger second half of the year!
