We’re proud to share that First Aid Schools recently returned to Howard Primary School in Croydon for the fifth consecutive year, delivering our trusted and engaging first aid workshops to every class – plus a session for parents, too.
The visit was packed with practical learning, fun, and confidence-building, helping pupils develop essential lifesaving skills they can carry through life.
What Staff Had to Say:
Our workshops are always tailored to the age and ability of each group, and staff at Howard Primary appreciated the approach once again:
“Thank you Sam for another amazing few days. Pupils, staff and parents love the engaging workshops you deliver.” – Reena Ramakrishnan, Year 2 Teacher
“The session was phenomenal – both engaging and informative. The children were given clear instructions & expectations were clear too.” – Mrs Willicombe, Year 6 Teacher
“The session was detailed and tailored to the needs of the class. Sam built a great rapport with Y6 whilst keeping a steady pace to keep them engaged.” – Amy Blackford, Assistant Head
What the Pupils Thought:
It wasn’t just the adults who enjoyed the sessions – here’s what some of the pupils had to say:
“It was a very useful skill to learn but also a lot of fun.” – Emily
“Sam showed us important life saving skills. I now feel more confident with knowing CPR.” – Luke
“I like how we used the defibrillator on dummies.” – J
“I learnt a lot and had fun.” – S
At First Aid Schools, we’re all about making first aid accessible, fun, and relevant to young people. It’s been an honour to build a long-standing relationship with Howard Primary School in Croydon, and we can’t wait to return again next year.
If you’re looking to bring practical, age-appropriate first aid training to your school, we’d love to hear from you.
