First Aid Schools Training Doncaster CPR Defibrillator Priory

Duke of Edinburgh Ready Priory School Students

In December we had the pleasure of visiting The Priory School in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, to deliver First Aid training to Sixth Form students. The training was done prior to the students embarking on their upcoming Duke of Edinburgh expeditions. Amongst other training provided, students were shown how to perform CPR while waiting for a defibrillator to arrive.

We had a fantastic time at The Priory School, and the students and staff did, too. Nancy in Year 12 said, “The session was really engaging and we feel much more confident in how to act in a real emergency”, while Lucy, also in Year 12 added “This was great and definitely worth learning. I’d recommend anyone to do this.”

Faye Nearney, Deputy Headteacher, commented “As always, our students had an excellent day with First Aid Schools.  The sessions were engaging and covered all the aspects of first aid the student would require for Duke of Edinburgh.  I’m always really impressed with how Sam is able to make the sessions relevant and accessible to all the students.”

We can’t wait to visit again. Good luck with your expeditions!
